missing group messaging texts
I am having a problem with group messaging. When its not working I either don't get the messages or I get the message "New MMS message to download: size is 1KB, expires on ....."
In the most recent example there were about 8 or 9 people in the group messaging. If there is little activity, it works fine. When there is a lot of activity and everyone tries to text at once it jams up. When it jams up I can't send a text or recieve a text. After some time it says x new texts recieved and x messages not sent. Except I don't get the text, I only get the "new MMS message"
I have checked and double checked my APN settings. I can send and recieve picture messages fine when working with a single person and not a group. This also happens when I have full bars and good HSPA connection.
Please help, no one else in the group messaging is having issues.

I’d be happy to help with this MMS issue! Is this group message an intercarrier group, or are all members AT&T customers? Also, does this only happen with group messages, or are picture messages also affected?
I would recommend trying out an alternative messaging app such as Google Hangouts to test if the same issue occurs.

Thanks for responding.
-I do not know what carrier(s) the other people in the group message use.
-I don't send many picture messages, but when I do they seem to work fine
-I currently use Google Hangouts. I have tried Google Messenging, instead of recieving the "New MMS to download" message I just didn't get a text.

I have additional information that may help with a diagnosis
-This happens most frequently when I am home. I have a signal between 1/2 and full.
-It also happens when I am places that have poor signal, such as when I am in a metal building.
