KPevolutions.com or KP Internet

This company out of Tyler, Texas is selling unlimited SIM cards and modem/routers similar to the Netgear M1100 mobile hotspot.

It is $99/mon for unlimited data "with no throttling." And before I hung up the phone with the sales guy, he added "You'll get a warning after 22gb but you won't be throttled." Folks in the area are buying it and giving it great reviews.

I already have an unlimited data plan on M1100 for $35/mon. While it used to be blazing fast all month, about a year ago we started getting the warning that went something like "You are in the top 95% of data users" and even though AT&T says I'm not throttled, they do now admit that our hotspot "gets lower traffic priority" on the tower.

So I'm wondering if AT&T resells unlimited SIM cards (business to business) and if they are truly full-speed all month regardless of data usage? The company is a legit brick and mortar store that's been around a long time that made their name as a Crestron dealer. Now due to the number of customers in rural areas they are getting into the rural internet market basically cell service via AT&T.

My current ISP is on the same tower, but he leases space on the AT&T tower for point-to-point (fixed wireless) and buys AT&T business data. AT&T does the same thing, although they do it via microwave and with data limits.

If there is a better location to post this on the forum, please advise.

Thanks.

There is no such thing as an unlimited SIM card. A SIM card is just a SIM card. The plan you purchase dictates whether or not you get unlimited data. ATT does not currently offer unlimited data for a hotspot device. They did but now only those that have it can keep it. All ATT unlimited plans are subject to reprioritization and possible slow down at some point.

Bad choice of words. They are selling AT&T SIM cards, and an unlimited data plan. You pay them, not AT&T.

So my question is: Do enterprise level AT&T business partners have the ability to offer unlimited LTE based plans that are not "reprioritized" and full speed all the time?

No. Like I said, every unlimited plan is subject to reprioritization at some point, no matter who is selling it. Network capacity is not unlimited, it has to be managed. You simply can’t guarantee full speed all the time.

Yes I know network capacity has limits.

"at some point" -- How do you know at what point that is?

So this reprioritization applies at the same number of gb's for every customer, regardless if they are a consumer or an enterprise level corporation?

What's the basis of your assertion?
