It's 2019, time to change the text limit

I see there was an answer to this question in early 2018, yet this restriction hasn't changed. The logic provided for why there is this restriction is not logic, it's a lazy excuse .  Many customers have switched to other providers where the limit is much higher .What's going on AT&T?  Enough is enough .You are not protecting your customers, you are losing them. How much longer do we have to wait for this change?  It's 2019, time to raise the limit!

Hi @RazinKaine,

Thanks for reaching out to us! We're happy to answer this question for you. You can head on over to our Group Text Limit article to learn more about why there is a limit. We are evaluating options for supporting larger group limits in the future. At this time, we do not have any information if or when a change will take place. Thank you!

What a joke...I have a group of 17 friends planning a trip and I can only reply to 10 at a time which is extremely inconvenient...its 2019!!!!!

I'm done with ATT..no one else has this limit but them.

I have been an AT&T customer for many years. I will be leaving them for only one reason. The text group limit is unreal. I can go with other carriers that Don't have a limit of 10. AT&T is the only one with this limit. It is an inconvenience to me and the personal world and business world. In the business world my regional will send out a group message that has over 10 people and I have to respond individually to him because of the limit. If I want to send out a message to my team, I have to send it by groups of 10 and I have 52 team members. So I am inconvenience by this, and I use it all the time. So I will be leaving to go to Verizon. Was a loyal customer for over 25 years!

I should have saved a screen shot of my recent text log.   I recently switched to verizon where the limit is very high.  I get spam messages every day.  Many looking for a reply of some kind.

Less annoying than a call.
