I have a phone supported by At&T messages back up

I have a V40 ThinQ which is supported by AT&T MESAAGES BACK UP AND RESTORE BUT I KEEP GETTIMG A MESAGES TRY LATER. I HAVE HAD THIS NEW PHONE 6 WEEKS. I GO TI SETTIMGS AND I DONY SEE AN APP FOR BACKUP TO ICLOUD AND RESTORE

It's supported if it's an AT&T branded LG only.  Given your wording, I'm thinking it's not.

Let's look into that message you're constantly receiving. We just need to know more about your issue.

  • What happens when you power the device completely down before powering it back on again?
  • Is your device currently updated with the latest software?
    • From the link above, select your make and model, then System, and finally Software version. Update if prompted.
  • Are there options such as Retry and Not Now to choose from in the error message? What happens when you select either?

Okay, you edited.  I’ll Assume it IS a branded at&t phone.  


There is no app, its built into your phones messaging software.
