I am part of a group text and receive other's messages, but mine won't send
I have been having problems for awhile now with group texts on my Galaxy S6. I am part of a group text and I receive all messages from everyone in the group. For some reason, I am not able to reply to the group. I have tried changing the settings, restarting my phone, but nothing seems to work. When I type my message and hit send, the send button indents like it normally does when my messages send, but nothing happens and my message does not send. Please help or tell me if I need to take my phone to a store.

Hello @Skw2696
We're here to help! Are the group texts the only messages you are not able to reply to? Does this happen sporadically depending on where you are or does it occur at any location? How long have you been encountering this issue?

Thanks for getting back to me, Bobbie!
Yes, the group texts are the only messages I am unable to send and it occurs at any location.
The phone I am using is through my dad's phone plan. About a year ago, I switched my phone number onto a new phone (the Galaxy S6 edge). I recently switched my phone number back and started to again use my original phone (the Galaxy S6). I did not have this issue when using the S6 Edge but I have been having this issue since I started using the S6 again. If I remember correctly, I have always had this issue with the S6 since I originally got it.
Thanks so much for your help,
Sarah

Hi again,
So I recently discovered that my phone let me reply to a group text with just myself and 2 others, but still won't let me reply to a group text with my family, which consists myself and 14 others. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I hope this helps in some way with discovering an answer.
