Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if this helps with receiving calls and texts from other carriers.

  • Removing your SIM card and re-inserting it.
  • Power cycle your device by holding your power button till the device shuts down.
  • Resetting network connections:
    * For Android:  Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon > scroll to and select General management > select Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings > select Reset to confirm
    * For Apple: From the home screen, select the Settings app > scroll to and select General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > select Reset Reset Network Settings > select Reset Network Settings again to confirm.
  • Refeshing your connection: You want to click Sign In to Start to refresh your device connection. 

 

You may also find some additional troubleshooting tips by using our Device Support tool. Start by selecting the make and model of your device. 

 

In order to help determine what is causing you to not receive incoming calls and texts from other carriers, we need some additional information. 

  • Did you recently port over from another carrier? If so, it could be that your porting process is not complete. You will need to contact the Port Activation Center at 888-898-7685. Office times are from 9AM-11:30PM ET Monday through Sunday.
  • When did you notice you were not able to receive calls or texts from other carriers? This will give us a time frame to help us with our next steps. 
  • What is the make and model of your device? This will help us find personalized steps for your specific device.
