How can I set up my personal phone to only use Wi-Fi for internet, texts and calls?
I'm leaving for a short international trip and I don't want to add a phone plan to my personal phone because my business phone covers my trip. How can I set up my personal phone to only use Wi-Fi for internet, texts and calls? What do I need to change my setting to? I don't want to turn on my phone or forget and use my phone and I'm charged per use, overage or international fees.

Put it on Airplane Mode, then turn Wi-Fi on. You can use Wi-Fi Calling to send text messages and calls to phone numbers in the US and they'll be treated as domestic. However, if you call or text someone on an international number, it will be charged as an international call/text. If you absolutely don't want any international charges, I would turn off Wi-Fi Calling and just use it for Internet-enabled apps on Wi-Fi.
