Hotspot won’t connect to TV

Used my hotspot for a long time and just now it won’t connect to my TV.  Connects to my iPad and Mac just fine, but not the TV.  Beyond frustrated.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention via the Community Forums! This is a very interesting issue, but I’d be more than happy to assist you with this.


I recommend using our Device Support Tool to reset the hotspot. You will find the steps on how to do this by selecting your device and going to Learn how to use > Troubleshooting > Reset Device. If your device still isn’t connecting to your TV after trying this, please let us know.
