Group text messages delayed, arriving hours late

I have a Google Pixel 3a. I see other posts with people having this same issue but with iPhones.

Group text messages with and without pics are arriving up to 12 hours late. The issue has been ongoing since I started service 3 weeks ago. I believe I'm getting messages from other group members on time.

Is there an Android solution?
