Group Text Limit of 10
Is there a workaround for the text message limit of 10 participants?

We understand how important it is for you to send a group text to more than 10 participants, Jess1111.
The 10-person inter-carrier group message limit is set by us and cannot be changed by support.
We implemented a limit to the number of group message participants as a way to protect our customers from spam and/or malicious software. We're vigilant about protecting you, our customers, from unsolicited text message spam.
We're still evaluating options for supporting larger group limits in the future. At this time, we don't have any further information or when a change will take place.
In the meantime, we recommend that you view our forums thread on advanced messaging.
We hope this response helps. Thanks again for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

🤦🏼♀️. AT&T has been evaluating changing the limit since 2016. Advanced messaging was supposed to remove the limit and make it easier to send larger photos and video clips. That didn't happen. It's supposed to protect us from spam text messages, but people get spam text messages anyway. I switched over to Verizon which has a limit of 250. I don't get spam.
It's time to stop the lip service and for AT&T to get its rear end gear and make advanced messaging actually function the way it was always supposed to function. It's supposed to use data, it's supposed to be secure

Marking the response from AT&t as correct and official is a little disingenuous.
AT&t has been promising more with advanced messages for years. They have been promising to raise the limit for group text for years. And it still hasn't happened.
They have been promising to allow photos and video clips through advanced messaging, that doesn't work either.
