Group messaging

Recently I stopped receiving group messages from groups in which an Android phone is involved in. I have an iPhone. I receive individual text messages just fine. Worked fine and had no issues until yesterday this all started. Any suggestions

Hello @Jason182,

 

We can definitely provide you with some troubleshooting steps for this issue that you're experiencing with receiving group text messages on your iPhone. To restore group text functionality, please follow these steps:

 

1. Tap Settings > Scroll down and tap Messages > Scroll down to SMS/MMS and disable the feature.

2. Go back to Settings > Tap on General > Scroll down and tap Reset > Select Reset Network Settings > Enter your passcode (if prompted) > Tap Restart Network Settings.

3. Turn Messaging back on by performing the steps from Step 1, then go back to Messages. You will see MMS Messaging. Please enable text messaging by sliding the button to the right.

 

You may also need to turn your iPhone off and back on to restore functionality after the provided steps have been completed.

I no longer receive group text messages. I did a lot of the restart and other suggested things attempting to fix it. When I do I get a lot of texts messages all at once that read, "Message not found" from "Unknown." Very frustrating .....
