Group messaging beyond 10 people

It baffles me how far back this problem goes. No not having needing to have a group text larger than 10 people I didn't not know this was even an issue and I've had ATT since  they bought out Cingular wireless WAAAY back in the day.  Yet and still I can't believe that this can't be rectified in 2017 and people have been apparently complaining about this for more than 2 years! ATT's only solution was to use group messaging services so their users don't get spammed. Sorry but I've never been spammed with a text message! That's bull. So you would rather have your customers USE MORE DATA to down load and app that will SPAM us with APPS all so you don't have to extend your MMS services. Makes sense you gain money either way. So ATT is probably behind some apps like Group Me among others to get more money in advertising and more money from us for using data. What a scam. Over ATT

@510mill

sorry I know a few of the devs from conferences that work on group me...  ATT has nothing to do with it...  But those apps are the reason ATT is not changing the cap to 20 like verizon has.

That's still not a great solution. I know a few people that don't want to use up memory space on their phones bogging them down with unnecessary apps when the service can be provided like other places. ATT should understand that those apps will eventually put them out of business since wifi calling and messaging is prevalent. Keep your customers happy.

wifi calling still requires a number so the carriers are safe...  Atleast good wifi calling does...  You also still need the infrastructure that is owned by the carriers.  Even if they became dumb pipes like ISP's they will make money.

@GLIMMERMAN76 This is all true. I guess my only solution will be to bite
the bullet and either get an iPhone or a different service.
