Falsely tagging as Spam Risk

We are a reputable local business and our clients that use AT&T have complained that we are showing up as a Spam Risk when we call them. What can be done to resolve this issue?

Hello @HPorter1978,

We can definitely provide you with some more information on this.

These spam alerts are most likely being displayed because some of our customers have the AT&T Call Protect app downloaded onto their cell phones.

AT&T Call Protect includes features such as fraudulent call blocking and spam alerts.

These suspected spam warnings identify telemarketers and other suspected spam calls.

We identify fraud and spam calls through data analytics and network intelligence, as well as reports from our customers who use wireless services from AT&T.

If you would like to Report an incorrect caller identification in Call Protect, you can do so by filling out the information at the provided link.

Hope this helps!

Hi, @raffertybr.

Here is more information on Call Protect for your phone.

This helps with blocking Spam calls on your phone and other unwanted calls.

We recommend that you log into your AT&T account, so that you can manage the call protect because your line should not be labeled as spam.

Let us know if this helps.

Hi, @raffertybr.

Thank you for the update and we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

If you think your number has been marked as spam, you can submit a request to removed from the list. This forums article has an accepted solution about how to submit that request.
