E-mail to Text (MMS)
I have one of my servers sending a text message to me 2x a day indicating status of a specific task. The task occurs 1x at 5:00am and the other is 5:15am. Starting yesterday, the text messages stopped coming in for some reason. I have been sending the text messages to my number 907XXXXXXX@mms.att.net as per all your guidance. Is there a domain blacklist that maybe my domain slipped on to maybe? I checked my domain where it comes from against a list the published bad actors lists and it wasn't on there. I also checked to see if the messages were accepted by your mail server and it was.
Router: lookuphost Transport: remote_smtp Out Time: May 4, 2019, 5:46:05 AM ID: 1hMu48-0007TW-Sq Delivery Host: mx3b.txt.att.net Delivery IP: 166.216.152.132 Size: 1.05 KB Result: Accepted
How can I get this issue resolved?

Let's look into that for you, @AlkalineCandy!
What happens when you try to re-download the MMS message? Have you recently installed an app which may be interfering with MMS delivery? Use our Device Support tool to restart your phone in Safe Mode and check whether your experience is related to an app. Also, verify that your device has enough space to store newly received MMS messages.
We hope this info helps.

Hi Lar,
Those were the first things I checked outside of downloading the app you suggested. Everything on my end has remained constant outside of the normal application updates and I have checked that on other services, outside of the ATT environment, that the MMS come through without any issue to the same phone.
Probably would be faster if you would check your side of things as it isn't a hardware/software issue on my end and all the normal boot, reboot, etc procedures have been accomplished.
Thanks!
John

@AlkalineCandy Try " number@txt.att.net", an SMS-only interface.
I use this, occasionally for scheduled texts, too. I just tested from my Hotmail address (often subject to the type of "filtering" you mention), and it worked, fine, and instantly...
This assumes that SMS will work though, MMS would require the address you had been using.

Nice!!! I didn't think about switching to that. Still doesn't resolve the original issue from a MMS perspective, but it's a great work around for the moment. Thanks @pgrey

Thanks for replying, @AlkalineCandy!
Try sending the email from another mail host such as Yahoo! or Gmail. Also, make sure your server isn't an open relay, otherwise, your messages won't deliver.

@AlkalineCandy Sure. I marked this as "Solved", but I'll switch that back, depending on your feedback, given that MMS still doesn't work.
FYI, I tried the MMS route as well (same thing you're doing from your server), from Hotmail and GMail, and they're a non-issue. Also tried from my server, authenticating to Hotmail, and that worked fine too.
Not sure what your email server setup is? Like ATTCares mentions, an Open Relay setup would be blocked (for obvious reasons), but I sort of doubt this is your setup?
