Email to Text Limits
Device: iPhone 7 Plus
OS: 10.0.2
Is there any way to increase the size limit of an email-to-text message? I have an email that I need to receive via text every morning for work when I'm on call (daily for a week, every 6-7 weeks) that is 2MB. I know that the current limit is 1MB. I receive all other email-to-texts with no issue.
Is there any way to increase this limit? Currently it bounces back, with the following error:
This is a delivery failure notification message indicating that an email you addressed to email address :
-- xxxxxxxxxx@txt.att.net
could not be delivered. The problem appears to be :
-- Recipient email server rejected the message
Additional information follows :
-- 5.2.3 DATA size exceeds maximum permitted
This condition occurred after 1 attempt(s) to deliver over a period of 0 hour(s).

What email provider do you use?
Can you simply have the email forwarded to an email account you can receive on your phone?
For example my wife and I use Cox email and can configure it to forward messages to another email account. She has her email forwarded to my Cox email account simply to keep things simple for us. She could, if she wished, keep a copy in her Cox email account inbox.
