Does ATT sim card provide ipv6 service?

Does the LTE modem receive IPv6 address/es? If so, is it /64 prefix, or single ipv6 address.

And what are the plan details that offer IPv6 services? Thanks!

Hi @lanexon,

Thank you for reaching out. we want to take a closer look into this for you.

Most of the Wi-Fi devices produced in the past couple years have a dual IPv4 and IPv6, therefore your device should have no difficulty processing the IPv6 addresses. However, in order to know the specifics about /64 or /16 prefix, we will need to know what exact device you are having.

You can also check here for device details.

Let us know if this helps.

Hello @ATTHelp ,

Thanks for the reply. Sierra wireless modem is used, although the specific model can not be disclosed due to NDA. Can I have a channel to discuss v6 addressing details with you? Leave me a message or direct me to your IP service sales/tech.

Thanks,

Nate

Thank you for updating us @lanexon.

We understand and respect your NDA.

At this time, to keep up with AT&T IPv6 progress will be through our support article. There are also open discussions happening in our forums linked in that support article as well.
