Data Use During Covid

I applied for and received verification of a data usage waiver until May 13th (or stated date). Was so glad to have that since our income only allows for a limited data plan and I've been working some and doing some research for work from home. Data speeds slowed as they typically would in a billing period, however, so it does me no good for the next two weeks as it's two slow to properly access my emails or anything. Why is there a waiver for these crazy times if it's not going to help?

Hello, @BRWNEYDGL,

Thanks for reaching out. The extra data should be at the same speeds as your plan's regular data. Your device may need to make a fresh connection to the network. Completely power it down for thirty seconds before turning it back on again.

If speeds haven't improved, let us know the type of device this is.

Have a great week.

What's the name of your plan?
If you have a mobile share Advantage plan the plan is capped and no overages possible. That would explain why data has slowed down to a crawl. (you didn't need a waiver)
