Content in all AOL Emails Not Displaying - Gmail is Displaying

I have a Motorola GenX2.  Just recently my AOL email is not displaying any content in any of my emails and I get lots of emails to this account.  When I go to my AOL email on my laptop, it's fine.  My Gmail is displaying the contents of my emails.  Does anyone know what could have happened?  Thank You.

I know how important it is to be able to see email content and we are here to help! I’d be more than happy to get this up and running for you!

Sometimes the sync does not complete between your device and the server, and a good way to get this fixed is by signing out and back in to the account. Another good option would be to clear the system cache on your device. I am including the steps for your Moto GenX2:

  1. Turn off your Moto GenX2
  2. Press and hold Power and Volume Down for a couple of seconds and then release. You'll see the Fastboot menu.
  3. Use the Volume Down button to highlight Recovery and press Volume Up to select it.
  4. You'll see the Motorola logo followed the Android robot lying on its back.
  5. Press and hold the Power button for a second then press the Volume Up button once. You'll be brought to Recovery Mode.
  6. Use the volume buttons to scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition and press Power to confirm.
  7. You'll see a yellow message at the bottom of the screen and will be returned to the Recovery menu. Select Reboot System Now and press Power to confirm.
  8. Your Moto GenX2 will reboot with a fresh system cache, ready to be steadily clogged up again until the next time you wipe it clean.

If this does not clear up the issue occurring with the email account, we would want to uninstall the app from your phone and re-download it. Our Device Support Center is a fantastic resource for finding steps and guides on how to do this. After selecting your device, please choose Tutorials > Apps & Web > Remove an app.
