Can't receive MMS

I have a Galaxy S8 active, and I had this issue last week. I cant receive MMS messages from a few people. Its not all people, which I found odd. So I contacted att support. They had me reset advanced messaging and my network settings, and it fixed the issue temporarily. But it is doing it again. I shouldn't need to reset my network settings every few days... are there any other solutions, or is anyone else having this issue?

Both the problem and the solution indicate you are having a data connection issue.

You might try replacing your sim card to see if that resolves your data connection problems. If it does not, either you are losing connection to Towers due to distance, or faulty phone

This is the 3rd or 4th SIM card I've had in this phone. :( There was some kind of issue with the permissions (I think) with my phone out of the box but everyone just kept giving me a new SIM. Finally seem to have gotten that fixed and now this. I can't afford a new phone.
