Can't receive group texts from some iPhones on Galaxy S6

I’d be happy to help with your messaging! So we can get a good grasp on what’s happening here, can you please answer the following for me?

• Date issue started, or always?
• All devices on AT&T?
• Happening with group messages also?
• Do the iPhone users see their messages to you as being in a green bubble, or blue?
• Happening all the time, or intermittent?

• so it started quite a while ago with my Galaxy s4.  I moved to the galaxy s6 recently and it continued.  It happens all the time.
• all devices are not on ATT.  The one that can reply is on Verizon.  The two that can't are on Verizon and ATT.
• This only happens with one specific set of group messages.  This group consists of 3 apple iphones.  2 iphone 4s and one iphone 6.  all 3 see the messages.  i only get replies from one of the iphone 4s, the other two i don't see their messages. all the messages come in grey
• i have another set group consisting of 2 iphones (one 6, one 4) and have no problems with that group
• we have already tried deleting the thread and starting new on all the phones, as well removing the contacts and re-entering them
• i never had an iphone but do have an ipad.  messaging is not on.  i have tried de-registering my number with apple, but they don't have the number registered.

I've had the same problem for over 4 months 😞 Switched from iPhone4 to Galaxy S6; deregistered my number from apple a few times, deleted the iCloud info; asked for another S6 thinking the device is defective but still didn't work. Went to ATT Device Center, they checked the device said it was OK, changed the SIM card and still doesn't work.

Also checked the detail bills & it's interesting that the bill only shows the texts that I get not the ones that I miss! It seems to me that ATT doesn't send those texts due to some glitches and that's why it doesn't bill us either! I don't know just a thought.

Any ideas any body out there or ATT Tech Support people? CAN SOMEBODY HELP US PLEASE?????

I am also having this problem with my new Samsung S6 not receiving group texts from iPhone users.  I can receive single user texts from them but not when it's a group message. I've never had an iPhone but just to be sure I deregistered my cell phone number with Apple. They showed I was never registered with them so that is not the problem.  I did some internet research and found that if the iPhone user is using iMessaging to do their texting and do not have SMS enabled on their phone then non-iPhone users don't receive their reply.  So...I asked my iPhone friends to enable the SMS texts on their phones and that didn't work either.  I don't know if this is a problem with Samsung, Apple, or AT&T or a combination but I am fed up with not being able to use my "smart" phone.  Does anyone out there have a solution?
