Can't get SBCglobal.net email 2 re load on Amazon Fire HD10 Tablet - 2nd Request - ATT guy contacted, asked 4 my contact info - NOTHING
I use my Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet more than my PC.
My sbcglobal.net email worked just fine on my Fire tablet 3 days ago.
I recently (3 months ago) changed from Directtv internet and TV ..... To ... Just DTV. Inet thru Xfinity.
I've had some problems getting access to my DTV online acct. Not the same as old ATT online access. Just wanted to see my DTV bill online. Couldnt. Called DTV support. Had me change my password. Thought it was for DTV only, as access to ATT acct was still possible.
Don't know what he did, but after that I couldn't get in to my sbcglobal.net email.
Told me to call back to the Digital team? On Monday. called, they wanted me to set it up in the Yahoo site.
Since the sbc email from ATT is technically a Yahoo email, it is possible to access with it. However, the interface is totally different! Filled with ads, very difficult to see/navigate.
Was able to get someone on chat, as I was holding for an hour already. Seemed to know what she was doing? Had me change my password again!
Couldn't figure it out, as I still had no access. Switched me to expert???
After some time, she found that my account wasnt synching properly. OK. She said something about enlarging the bandwidth.? You heard that I no longer had AT&T internet service, and I didn't understand what the increasing of the bandwidth would do if I didn't have your services. She told me it had nothing to do with not having AT&T internet service and that it should be fixed within about half hour and she would be on it and check it to make sure it was working.
It wasn't . . . Not a couple hours later, or the next day.
No way to contact her!!!
