Callers unable to leave a voicemail on my phone

For the last month or so, anytime I am unable to answer callers get a “your call cannot be completed as dialed” prompt and it hangs up on them. If I answer, the call goes through fine. I’ve tried updating my phone, restarting it, and updating my voicemail password and nothing works. I even went into a local ATT store and the rep wasn’t sure how to fix it. They tried updating my SIM and it did not work. I cannot go without a voicemail!

Have you had any recent updates to your device, such as system updates? We understand they did an update to your SIM, but we are specifically asking about system updates, this will help us decide if this error could be in some way tied to an update.
