Blocking email address to text
The past 3 days I have been receiving text messages with inappropriate content from an email address. I can't block the emails address from my text app, and if I block it on my email app i have to do it each time I receive a new text, WHICH is annoying because it is a new email address each time I receive a text. On the text there are about 20 people in the group text. We do not know each other, but we are all receiving these text messages from these email addresses. How do I prevent that?

Thanks for reaching out. We understand how you feel about receiving spam texts. As the email address associated with the text changes each time, you would need to block each individual address.
You can report the text messages by forwarding them to 7726 or by sending it to abuse@att.net.

Has anyone had any luck with blocking all texts from email addresses? I've called twice and have been told they are blocked only to get even more spam afterwards.

If you want to block all text from email, call AT&T and request they look up Article *446389. They have to apply it to your line. This will block all email to text coming to your line.
