auto-reject list

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.  Calls I have added to the auto-reject list keep coming through.  How do I permanently STOP these calls from getting through?  When I add a number to the auto-reject list, I am not getting a message that the list is full so can't take any more numbers.  After I add the number, I then delete it from the log.  Is that causing the auto-reject feature to cancel stopping that number?  I don't want these junk numbers in my log.

How do I get the auto-reject list to actually STOP the calls from getting through?
