AT&T NumberSync stopped working on my Galaxy Watch 4
I've been using my Galaxy Watch 4 with NumberSync enabled from my primary phone. It was working well until 2 days back, now I'm trying to make it work, but it keeps throwing an error. Logged into my AT&T account and confirmed my watch is not listed under Synced wearables. When I tried to reconfigure the NumberSync, it prompts for the code from my watch, and my watch AT&T NumberSync app throws an error with code PD-SD-N/A. No luck with support chats/calls. Anyone have similar issues recently? I did get a text confirmation saying that my NumberSync stopped working 2 days back, and that's when I realized it doesn't work. So, when AT&T have these services traced in the backend, it'd be good at least if they also stop charging us for the watch line for the time when NumberSync doesn't work.

We appreciate your patience during this experience tracy8583! Let's get your Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and your Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 back connected via NumberSync.
First, we recommend that you access our Device Support tool by navigating to our AT&T Wireless support page. Once you've reached this webpage, select Get suggestions. Next, go to Services>Device pairing (NumberSync). You'll be provided with personalized solutions based on the requested details specific to your experience.
Still unable to pair with NumberSync? Remove NumberSync if you haven't done so already. You can do this by logging into your wireless account and going to your myAT&T account overview>Scroll to My devices>Select Manage my device for the wearable you want to update>Choose Manage NumberSync. Then try setting up NumberSync again. Also, if able, uninstall the Galaxy Wearable app and download it again.
Before you begin, make sure:
Set up NumberSync from the Galaxy Wear app:
Also, you will find more tips and fixes provided by the community. If the error continues after applying these recommendations, follow up and share your update with us. Thank you for visiting AT&T Community Forums!

I'm having the same issue as well. From the Galaxy Wear app I get the error NumberSync has encountered a problem. Code: PD-SDK-N/A
And from my Samsung Galaxy Watch3 I get the error NumberSync is currently unavailable.
I have tried all of the suggestions in this thread and nothing has worked.

I think this is an AT&T issue not an issue of its customers or their equipment. Not one of AT&T's proposed fixes has worked. Will AT&T acknowledge its problem and make some assurance that it's attempting to fix it?

@atthelp
I did all that. It did not work. I even went to an AT&T store, they did all that, and it did not work. It is a software issue that AT&T needs to push through an update to solve.

@tracy8583 good to know. I'm right now in ATT store, will try my luck. But I seriously think ATT shouldn't charge for the watch line the days numbersync didn't work. @ATTHelp is this something you can take it up with your billing team?

I'm having the same issue, woke up yesterday to a message from att saying that I turned off number sync when I DIDN'T, and when I try to turn it back on from my watch 4 and the wearable app it keeps saying numbersync encountered an error and the error code is PF-SDK-N/A, I have done everything from resetting my watch and my phone, I'm not tech illiterate, this is on your end ATT fix it, I'm not paying $10+ my $100+ bill so I have to deal with this. My watch 4 has worked with numbersync since it first came out so don't tell me the watch doesn't work with numbersync, I honestly can't people att has tech support when those people don't know jack (Edited per community guidelines).

Thanks for your response, @tracy8583.
We're definitely aware of this known issue with Number Sync and our team is currently reviewing and correcting the update at this time. We'd advise for you to continue to try the troubleshooting steps, until a resolution has been provided.
We do apologize for this inconvenience!

@DapperAdam The phone support people really are awful. The guy I talked to for over an hour first "had to" remote into my phone to fix the problem. He kept wanting to talk about how I was rich because I had a Subaru (he was looking at my blutooth devices). He then told me in India he could only afford a local made car and I must really be rich to afford an import. Then he said the problem was my watch wasn't activated. When I convinced him it was, he had me delete the service on it. Of course it wouldn't reactivate. He told me I had to go to the store because there was no way it activated without scanning a QR code. When I convinced him it was activated before he put me on hold. He came back and said he has looked into the problem and there is a defect in all Watch 4 classics and to call Samsung and maybe they would replace it with a different model. Absolute trash of service.
