AT&T Messages Backup and Sync
I'm looking for some clarification. Here https://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB424734 it states that texts deleted from the device are automatically deleted from the cloud . I've had a customer services rep tell me otherwise. Can someone please clear this up? Just to be clear this is the messagesbackup and sync service NOT the AT&T messages service.

I have researched this for you and found that if you delete the message from the device it will delete from the cloud.
Now if you delete a message from the website (cloud) it will not delete the message from the device itself.

Im not 100% on how it all works as Im new to the app myself, but I have viewed messages on the app that were previously deleted from the device.

I always delete short code or verification messages from my phone, yet the cloud has every message I ever sent or received.
I recently reset my phone and everything was restored, including delete messages.
