Before you get your data activated, you'll need to confirm the following information:

• Find out if your device will work on our network (PDF, 498KB).
• Make sure your device is unlocked. Contact your current provider or the device manufacturer.
• Want to keep your phone number? See if it’s eligible to transfer. Wireless numbers take one to five days to transfer. Non-wireless numbers take five to seven days to transfer.

Once confirmed, you'll need to add your device to your account:

1. Go to att.com/activate.
2. Follow the prompts to order a new physical AT&T SIM card.
