Advance Messaging not working after nov 1, 2019 update

Since the latest android update, the advance messaging feature no longer works for me or anyone else I talk to with android. The delivered, read receipts or typing. Had I known this I would've bought an iPhone rather than a new android. Currently have the samsung s10... and yes, the advance messaging feature is toggled on, along with the read receipts toggle. I've checked the mobile data and messaging settings. ALSO, no matter what I'm doing on my phone it keeps popping up a grey box saying "can't connect to server" what is going on with AT&T & android service!?!?!

Thanks for your post. We can definitely help your with Advanced Messaging.

Sometimes, we see a service conflict when using a 3rd party messaging app, & the AT&T Messages Back Up and Sync (AMBS) service. What messaging app are you using, and are you using AMBS? 

Are the messages being sent as Advanced Messaging or SMS/MMS? You can check this by long pressing the chat bubble > view details > type. Please let us know the message type.

We suggest using the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool for customized help. When you sign in, we will run tests to check both device settings, and service provisioning.

Please sign in to use the TS&R tool to run tests, then reply with your results, confirm your messaging app, using AMBS, + the message types.
