Advance messaging not work on galaxy 9 plus

every time my phone does an update my advance messaging stops working. I was told it was my sim card. Replaced it. And its still not working

We can definitely help you with Advanced Messaging, @destiniphelps.

We know how frustrating it must be when a messaging feature stops working. What stopped working exactly - delivery/read receipts, typing notifications, file or group messaging size? Do you have an Unlimited, or Mobile Share data plan? Are you getting an error message of any kind?

Open your Messaging app and from the inbox tap the More icon in the upper left corner. Select Settings, then Advanced Messaging and ensure Use Advanced Messaging, & Send read receipt is checked. 

We would like to run a few tests so we need you to please sign in to the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool. Select Messaging under Services to get started.

Please check your app settings, and run through TS&R. If the problems continue please post back with a few more details so we can take a closer look. Thank you!
