25¢ per minute plan Disappeared

I don’t permanently live in US, so I only activate data plan when there and I usually switch back to 25¢ per minute plan when sbroad.

Now this option disappeared fron the available plans. How can I switch, to keep my number alive unitil I get back?

thank you

It disappeared because the plan was discontinued as of January 5th. You might be able to get the plan back by calling but no guarantee.

That’s really bad! This would means to pay at least 30$ each month for nothing!

Do you know what number to call internationally?

Thanks

Let's help get you back on your plan, !

As our supportive ACEs mentioned, as of 01/05/2022, the $.25 per minute Plan is no longer available. Customers currently on this grandfathered plan will remain on this plan as long as their services are in good standings, or until they make a change. You'll want to give our PREPAID International Customer Service a call at 1.408.962.1025 and inquire if you're able to get back on your plan. We hope you find this information helpful.

@ATTHelp, There’s no way to talk with someone dialling the number you gave me and the only options to change the plan offered by the automatic menu are the same as on line.

How can I talk with someone? Or chat?

The number for out of country is not able to help for prepaid numbers and I was redirected to the previous number where I stayed hours (paying for it!) waiting fir an operator to talk.

I didn’t succeed..

What if I only do a small payment to postpone the balance expiration date? This will not be sufficient to renew the plan, but will it keep the number alive?

Yes, that should work. A $10 refill is good for 30 days but won’t be sufficient to renew your plan. After it expires in 30 days you will then have another 60 days to refill. Theoretically you should be able to that indefinitely but since the pay per use plans are gone, I’m not sure anyone knows for sure that will work. We don’t know if not renewing a plan will have any impact on the 60 day rule.
