quitclaim easement

i called 800.288.2020 twice... operator was unable to find any phone numbers for engineering department, right of way department, legal department, so struck out again... i simply want to speak with someone in AT&T's right of way department about an easement that AT&T has over my property, why is this so hard?

Instead of asking for a number for a specific department why not tell them that you need a release of easement and let them direct you? You may have to call until you hit a rep that knows where to direct your call. Any way you choose it can't be done on a user to user forum as we have no direct contacts at AT&T and this forum is not direct access to AT&T business groups.

I did describe that i needed an easement quitclaimed, but the operator was unfamiliar with easements and quitclaims, i went into further detail, but to no avail... the operator asked fellow workmates, too, but none of them could help... seemed they did not have any access to operations offices of AT&T, only sales, tech support, etc... seems odd that this is so hard... not hard at all with other utility companies... been working on this for a number of days and still no closer to a solution... someone told me to drive to their local corporate offices... not sure what piece of this i'm missing...

@jforddev may I suggest you flag down an At&t service truck. Ask for their managers number they would have the local right of way contact. When I was a construction manager I had my right of way person on speed dial
