Difference between uVerse triple play bundle and switching TV to Direct TV

I currently have the uVerse triple play (t.v., phone and internet).  TV is the basic plan now, which is far too expensive for what I'm getting.  I'm trying to find out what the bundle price would be if I have phone, internet and the 69.99 Direct TV service.  The representative I talked to seemed to indicate that switching would save me about $30/month, but I'm not completely confident in her answer.  Can anybody speak to this?  Any pros/cons of switching from uVerse tv to Direct tv would be helpful.  And am I the only one that thinks the AT&T website is dreadful?
