At&t use of offensive sports team name.

I recently watched a television commercial where At&t referenced "irish" the Notredame sports team nick name.  The name "fighting irish" and the disrespectful image of an angry "leprechaun" should not be celebrated by Notredame university or by a national company.  People of irish descent will certainly be heard by At&t regarding this short sighted use.

Wouldn't this be something that should be directed towards the University?  The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame

AT&T has no control over what images are sanctioned by Notre Dame or any other business, university or group.

Are you kidding me? Notre Dame has had that nickname and logo as far back as I can remember. In fact, it was adopted in 1927. This isn’t something new. If the Irish community were going to object, they would have done so years ago. Now I think I understand what they mean by the “woke mob”.
