AT&T Fiber cable installation
Please help or connect me with someone who can! You’re probably technical support for equipment but there is no other contact information for AT&T.
On March 9 contractors for AT&T (called Underground Innovations) appeared and begin digging so that a cable for AT&T’s new fiber could be installed. No notification - no knock or note on the door, no mail notification - nothing. They drove a huge piece of equipment through our yard leaving deep muddy ruts in the yard and destroying the grass in the path they took. They said they would come back and repair the damage after they were finished with the work they needed to do in the area. They did come back after several weeks and seeded new grass but evidently they didn’t lay the fiber cable correctly so a second group came out and dug a huge coffin sized hole in the easement at the back corner of our yard. Again - no notification. When I spoke with the supervisor he said if I had any problems to call him and not bother AT&T. It has been 4 weeks since they dug that hole and they not been back since And we still have that large hole. A neighbor 3 houses away said she has 3 big holes. I’m wondering if they plan on repairing after they finish laying their cable throughout Columbus.
So either the cable hasn't yet been laid or they just aren't in a hurry to cover up the hole.
The contractor supervisors that came to the door left names and phone numbers but my neighbor said they are not picking up or returning calls. Maybe this group was fired like the first one?
