Getting HBOMax after leaving ATT

I can't change the payment method in HBOMax. It keeps referring back to ATT which doesn't have an option to sign up using my current sign in information. How can I keep my current info but change the payment method?

It would be a pleasure to assist you with your HBO Max questions and concerns. I see here on the title of your post that you are no longer an AT&T customer. Thank you for kindly providing this information.

 

Some of our data plans come with HBO Max included as a feature. It appears that you may have been on one of these kinds of data plans when you were still a customer. The HBO Max subscription is good as long as you still have active services on a qualifying plan with AT&T. This is likely the reason you are unable to watch HBO. 

 

To create a new account I would recommend using a different email address so it doesn't get confused with your old account, causing you to loop back to the AT&T page. To change your payment method please visit our HBO Max Help Center > Account & Billing > Billing > Change Payment Method
