I canceled my service 18 Jan 19, due to deployment. ATT stated since I was ending my service before the contract ends I have to pay this unsurmountable fee "but" it can be waived if I send my orders. I sent them to the email address that was given. ATT called me about a week later saying that my service was canceled due to non-payment. I explained no it wasn't I discontinued the service due to deployment, and I was told to send my orders to waive the fee. ATT said they would get back with me.  Again I receive a call from ATT saying the same thing, then I had to explain again, and I asked wasn't this placed in the notes on the account? I then received a message from a person, not on my account stating that ATT sent him an email about my account and they canceled my service due to non-payment???  My PII was in that email! Spoke to ATT again and they stated "again" that they would talk to their management in regards to waiving the fee and they would get back with me on 05 Feb 19. Did not hear anything back "but" received a letter in the mail saying that my service was canceled due to non-payment of bill. Mind you I have NEVER been late on my bill, NEVER!  I called ATT for I am preparing mentally to deploy to a war-ridden zone, leaving my family and friends and going back and forth about a bill is the last that I need. I paid the bill...I received a call today from an ATT bill collector with the number disguised for I would answer. I admit I was a little rude and told them to never call me again for the bill was paid because I am a stickler for paying bills on time. I will NEVER, EVER use ATT Digital Life again!!!  I will never recommend this service to anyone!  I am a 24 year Veteran and military/government personnel are relocated and or deployed at any given time and this is how we are treated or anyone for that matter. Customer service is non-existent with this company. Again will never recommend...
