now I can’t even get a customer service supervisor locally as all calls are routed to the Caribbean office which is beyond my beliefs that att would tie itself to this type of customer service

That person is not an At&T employee.

@Constructive   I started to tag all posts made by @Stevechapman42  as spam but I thought I'd leave them all up (10?) as a cautionary tale.

@Gabe362000  Hello. I was able to locate your Digital Life account based off of the email address that you utilized for the forum. The offer that you received last November did extend the contract for 1 year which would be with a  Nov 2020 expiration date. I did see where it defaulted to a 2 yr contract as that is what we used to have. I corrected it to the one year and it now expires Nov 23,2020.

I appreciate you looking into it and adjusting the expiration being November 2020 but my question Now is why can’t the recording from November When I originally called in to cancel my monitoring services with digital life be played back proving that I didn’t ever agree to a contract renewal ?
it would be a very simple solution as At&T guidelines apparently state that the customer is never right and I have to prove myself which the recording would easily clear the question in place

I’m really disappointed in how much and effort it’s taken me to get this complaint resolved

I’ve been a loyal customer of At&T with home services in the past and my cellphone has been with At&T for over 23 years !!

i am currently shopping new cell phone providers due to this experience and also getting legal counsel to expand my options and help others in the same predicament I’m in feeling disgustingly cheated out of hard earned money

I am asking At&T once again to Listen to me and assist me in this matter to take me off a contract I never agreed to be bound to due to deceptive practices and misled by service representative

do the right thing is all I’m asking for ...

thanks

calls are randomly recorded and used for training purposes only not to prove or disprove any conversation between you and an at&t employee, calls can only be listened to at a corporate level. only about 4% of calls are recorded and the employee doesnt know if the call they are on is being recorded.

@Gabe362000  Hello. I'm sorry but I cannot have the last 3 months of the contract removed. You received multiple promotions and they all come with a 1yr contract extension which is the only way that we can provide those promotions to customers is when they are offered and agreed to inclusive of the contract terms. Our representatives have very specific polices that they follow when reviewing options with customers. The contract expires in November 2020.  I cannot have that contract removed from your account.

Hello again,

Like I previously stated the customer is Not right under the set At&T guidelines For the digital life services but the service rep that’s trained to read off the paperwork to upsale the consumer into a new contract is I’m sure paid and enticed with added bonuses and or commissions for each deceiving transaction and conveniently skipping the fine print details of entering into a new contract by agreeing to accept a new $30 door lock in exchange for a binding contract

but it’s all good I’ve been provided with more paper trail to share with legal counsel for a (Edited per community guidelines) suit

I understand you’re an employee and can only do what’s within your perimeter

I am an self employed entrepreneur owner of multi businesses Without limits on customer service Guidelines amd legal protocol and fortunately well informed on grounds of deceptive practices on illegal advertising tactics that are in place for consumer protection as I have to  comply to Daily

so I appreciate your time on this matter and I am moving forward with wasting my scarce time to put into this matter to help future consumers of this illegal contract guidelines AT&T digital life is using to straight up rip the consumer off

Regards,

G Correa
