Digital Life Refusal to Cancel Service

I had a terrible experience with Digital Life yesterday. I spoke to 4 different representatives who all claimed to be cancellation specialists. I WANT to CANCEL my service due to it not being needed. I had it installed during my living period at my parent’s home for the safety of my grandmother. My grandmother passed away on Christmas Day and I spoke to my parents about disconnecting the service since they will not need it. They agreed since I am the account holder and do not live at the residence anymore. The representative wanted my grandmother’s death certificate before he could cancel MY ACCOUNT. My grandmother is not on my account. IT IS MY MONEY AND I AM THE ACCOUNT HOLDER. Digital life is putting a strangle hold on my account for a service that I PAY FOR. This is unethical and I will hire a (Edited per community guidelines) if this problem is not resolved. I’ve never heard of a service needing outside information that’s not regarding the account holders information to cancel a service. After being on hold for a prolonged amount of time and being disappointed with every answer. I will bring this to court if that’s the avenue I have to take. Pathetic.
