Digital life contract

Back in 2016 I moved into a house that had the digital life equipment already in it. I activated the system and was told 2 weeks later that I needed to sign a two year agreement. I declined doing that because I knew I wasn’t going to be staying there for two years. I now have an outstanding balance in collections. I tried getting this resolved back in 2016 by emailing corporate but I never received a response. I have messages proving this.

In my case I switched apartments 2 years ago, creating a new account. Bottom floor apartments don’t get good service for the digital life. This led to constant issues!  I was just informed I have a 700.00 bill in collections. Would have never know if I wasn’t trying to upgrade my cell phone. I called the collections department and they were very rude to put it mildly. I would rather just deal with ATT for this mishap but I’m assuming no such luck. But hey, my fault. Still would rather deal with ATT directly!
