Underground service repair

On Wednesday of last week had a AT&T contractor come in and dig up the main trunk line in the back yard to repair a bad connection at my residence.  Thursday, had another AT&T person show up to the house and did nothing to the service.  I have a 4'x6'-7' hole in my back yard with a 4-8 sheet of plywood that DOES NOT cover the entire hole and worthless orange netting haphazardly placed around the dig site and mound of dirt.  I have pets that can easily get through the netting and can possibly fall in the hole and get injured.  I need to understand what the anticipated schedule to getting my service repaired and the hole filled back in.  AT THE VERY LEAST COMMUNICATION ON THE SCHEDULE AND PLACING A BETTER, MORE THUROUGH COVING OF THE HOLE.

I had sub contractors bury cable for ATT recently and damaged my main sewer line. This caused a significant inconvenience inside my home as all the sewage backed up into my home and on the floor. They repaired the sewer line but do not want to take responsibility for the loss inside the home. I have reached out to my insurance and since it was caused outside the property line they would not cover. Is AT&T liable for hiring such an unprofessional sub contractor? If so, any recommendations on how to pursue liability?

3 year old topic answered via the provided link.  The original topic is an outdated process for reporting damage claims.  Closing to further posting.
