retrieving messages on phone

I just got u-verse hooked up to my phone but now I don't know how to retrieve messages.  Before, I could call in and get them.  How do I retrieve messages now?

Change Voicemail PIN (from your home phone)Change the personal identification number (PIN) you use to access your voicemail box by the phone. Your new PIN must be 6-10 digits long and should not be your phone or voicemail box number.Dial *98, press 4 to change PIN, then follow the voice prompts

If you've forgotten your PIN and enter it incorrectly, the system will prompt you for your Authentication Code. Once you've entered your Authentication Code, follow the voice prompts to reset your PIN and access your voicemail box.
