I'm assuming you tried to place an order and were told there was no service at the address. You'll probably have to place an order and ask for an address validation, if that address has never had AT&T service. Use this link to check for available services. If it tells you no service check the address on each side of you, if they show service that's where the address validation comes in.

I used your link and it says no internet service available. So are you saying I just need to call them and order service when they say there is no service available and am to tell them I want service validation done?

Did you check the address on each side of you? On the same side of the street. Your second question can't be answered until you answer this one.

No. Actually my neighbor"s address is different because although they face the same road I do their driveway in off the next street down(maybe 2 blocks away) so they use that address.

If you can't check the addresses on each side of you to verify access to service the only other choice you have is to request an address validation.

Immediate next door neighbor has a driveway access (2) blocks away?

Sounds as you may be ATT of 15 million rural semi rural addresses that HAD LEGACY DSL.

ATT is no longer offering services on LEGACY DSL (best speed of internet 6, 150G data cap, $10/50G overage charges up to $200 per month.

If your not part of the 80% Uverse platforms (60 million addresses) then need to consider other ISP options including satellite, cellular service.

For these locations should be able to order DirecTv satellite for tv service.

EDIT… ATT offers internet service to about 2/3 of addresses in Orange Texas (67%). Cable service is absolute about 60%, this your likely looking at cellular (fixed wireless) or satellite internet

Thanks .That's a lot of info.I appreciate it. Yes, we are rural, but not middle of nowhere rural.20 minutes from Beaumont tx which is a pretty big town. I called at&t again and gave them my neighbor's address and they are going to send someone out to do a service verification. Maybe because my address has never had service before it's just not showing up as no service. We'll see. Fixed wireless means a modem with a sim card?

No one from AT&T has ever come out so I am just using my phone as a mobile hotspot. Eventually I may go with t mobile and use their wireless internet service . Too bad, I wanted a full bundle from AT &T but I guess they have enough customers and didn't care.

Did they give you a ticket number and have you checked the status of that ticket number? No ticket number request most likely not received. It can take up to 3 weeks for an address validation. I'd say do what you need to do.
