My new service was not turned on

My landline service was supposed to be turned on Tuesday, 1/28/2020 by the end of business. It is now Thursday, 1/30/2020, and still no service. How do I escalate this complaint to a higher department? I think it is a Tech issue. No techs were available to turn the Service on for Tuesday, I was promised the service would be on by 6 pm Wednesday, but today is Thursday, 1/30/2020, and the service still is not on.

This is a customer to customer forum, not customer support. No way to escalate here. You can try calling or chat but not sure you can escalate. Unfortunately, landline service is just not a priority anymore. If a technician is not available, they can’t just create one.

it could also be that they were there and connected you but your inside wiring is messed up. Go to the side of the house with a standard phone not needing electricity open up the box it and there’s a phone plug. If it works it’s your wiring if it doesn’t then a tech is needed Techs don’t always make contact with the customer as they are only responsible for At&t side and even if you were there they wouldn’t be able to fix it without a charge and a work order
