Landline home phone handset
The phone says out of range or no power at base so I de registered it then registered it but then the error message came back 2 minutes later

Did it ever work with your current base unit? If it did and the battery is good the handset could be defective.

yea it was working till like a week ago I have 2 handsetes and the one on the main base unit with all teh buttons is charging so I think I might need to unregister that one and re register it before i do this one because after i put the other one on the main base to charge it un registers the other one

You can find the manuals online, there's probably a way to deregister all, that's what I'd do and just start over. If that doesn't work post back.
