Installation

So I have spoken to different people who work at AT&T no less than 15 times. All but one were able to help me get the information I need. Right now I'm supposed to be getting a landline, hard wired copper line, installed. Instead I'm trying to fight with att customer service to get to my local dispatch so I can contact whoever it is that's supposed to install my phone line. I was given a number 8777372478 to call but for some reason they keep transferring me to someone else because they don't know how to help me. Please, does anyone know how I can get ahold of my local dispatch so I can see when the installation is supposed to take place. I work a full time job and have to know when I need to be home. This has been an absolutely ludicrous experience and if another company serviced my area I would 100% chose them rather than At&t. The customer service is horrendous. Help!

You should have a confirmation number and should be able to check the status of it by calling the main number. Be very clear that you're calling about a traditional landline, POTS. Other than that, this is a user forum and we have no secret numbers.
