ATT House phone

New AT phone service for house rings-in, but caller will hear "no routes found" and then "this is a non-working number."

Sounds like the service hasn't been activated yet.

Is this a traditional landline phone or a U verse home phone?

 

If this is a U verse home phone, we recommend that you reboot your gateway so that it can restart everything.

Thank you. It turns out that ATT assigned me a different phone number than the one I had requested and any "calls" that were ringing-in were for that other, unknown by me, number. The recording messages for my callers to my old number were getting the "Non-working number" message. Still working on it. Thanks for your response.
