AT&T customer service is a joke

Been trying for months to get POTS but AT&T cannot get it done. Twice techs have come out that only work on fiber and referred back to the pathetic customer service department. One tells me they don't service this area, next tells me I have to call 'Telco' but gives me the wrong number, one tells me only VoIP is available, which doesn't work at this property and is not what I want. The techs are sympathetic when they've come, the 2nd one called and was transferred all around until his cell battery died while he was waiting, not unlike the runaround I've experienced. Anyone know what the heck is wrong with AT&T's ability get a plain old landline installed in 2019? Freaking ridiculous.

Try this link to see what's available in your area. POTS is being phased out, so it may not be available to you, once removed from a location they don't put it back in.

I've been a customer with this A&T since 2003. Due to COVID19 I've ran into some issues and I was unable to make a payment arrangement that I had made. Mind you, I have kept every single arrangement that I have made with AT&T, and they disconnected the three lines that I have with them for which I pay almost $300.00 and I do not why? They put me on individuals plans for each line when at an earlier time I only pay $10.00 for additional line and shares minutes.

And, offer that I was grandfathered too and they cancel without my permission. 

Now, I have spoken to two of their representatives Arturo being the second person a few minutes ago, and I was told there is NOTHING that they can do.

All, of this after once, again mentioning COVID19 issues and that did not even take an advantage of an offer that they had dealing with COVID19.

I told Arturo, that I had to get monies from a retirement fund and that monies would be deposited no later than this Saturday and I would be able to pay the bill.

He stated as the representative from yesterday that offers are available and able to take advantage if, you pay the amounts that they tell you on that day that you speak to them.

Can you let us know what type of specific plan and/or service you have with us? When it comes to phone lines similar to this post, we have Voice Over IP, Home Phone, and Plain Old Telephone Service.
