I need to "remote" call forward an AT&T landline. I found partial instructions, but so far no one at AT&T can tell me if I can do it?

If you have a traditional landline (POTS) and are paying for remote call forward you can do it. If you have a digital landline or anything other than POTS you can't.
This is a user to user help forum. It is not an AT&T support site. I am not an AT&T employee, read the ACE's disclaimer at the bottom of this post
Thanks for the response. Do you know where I can go to order a remote call forward option?
I just got off the telephone with AT&T landline technical support. I was told there is no such option. So I am almost as confused as AT&T. It took me four phone calls before I reached someone who could give me an answer.
I cannot access my AT&T telephone information to add an option due to a password problem. The recovery phone number is 200 miles away. That is why I want to call forward that phone.
I appreciate the time you took to answer my question. .
Here's AT&T's link on remote call forwarding. Please keep everything in one topic, posting in several topics only confuses the issue and won't get you an answer any faster.
How can we improve?
