rejects *77and #77 inputs.

my traditional landline gives busy signal when *77 or #77 are entered on keypad.  how to activate anonymous call blocker?

Getting a busy on *77 could indicate it's already set.  #77 isn't a valid star code on traditional landline service. You could do *87 to release the feature, than *77 to turn it back on if you want to see if it's already set.  Valid codes can be found on the right side of this page under Home Phone Hot Topics.
