Porting Time Warner Phone lines to AT&T
I have been working on porting my old time warner numbers over to my new At&T temporary lines for 5 days now. On Friday I finally spoke to a local rep from SD, stating he could see where they were getting it wrong. The reps, kept saying the old numbers were NOT active, but than this new guy said - it's because they were at another address than where I am at now and that he "fixed" it. These are my work phone numbers so I must be able to get them, AT&T reassured my husband before we switched that it could just be "ported" over. I now have two open accounts, one with AT&T and Time Warner i'm paying because i have to keep the number active until the porting is DONE. It is still not working and I have been on phone again this morning for an hour, just for the guy to put me on hold again and than i got disconnected. What is going on? am i missing something???
